Chris Stevens

Chris Stevens, a resident of Headland, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 24, 2012. He was 33.

            Celebration of Life services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday, October 26, 2012, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with a eulogy to be given by Neal Hardy. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. Friday at the mortuary. Flowers will be accepted.

            Chris Stevens, son of A.C. Stevens and Becky Hendrix Stevens, was born in Enterprise and formerly lived in Geneva County before moving to Headland in 2011.  Mr. Stevens was a 1997 graduate of Wicksburg High School and was currently employed with ID Associates in Dothan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dewayne Stevens; grandparents, Herbert and Mary Flowers Stevens and also Arcus and Mary Lou Cross Hendrix.

            Surviving relatives in addition to his parents, include a brother, Tim Stevens, Tallahassee, FL; two nephews, Justin Cordle, Auburn and Kalabe Stevens, Westville, FL; a special friend, Dawn Taylor of Headland, beloved canine companion, "Buster" and a host of friends.
