Wallace Community College Announces Scholarships for Spring 2013

Dothan, Ala.--Wallace Community College in Dothan announces the spring 2013 Wallace Foundation scholarships. All scholarships cover tuition, fees, and books. Applications and scholarship details are available on the College website at: http://www.wallace.edu/enrollment/financial_aid/current_scholarships.htm. The deadline for applications is Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
 
Wallace Foundation Spring 2013 Scholarships:
 
1.       Dr. Robert Allen Latimer Respiratory Therapy Leadership Scholarship
2.       Terrell McCord Scholarship
3.       National Peanut Festival Scholarship
4.       Madeleine Nessi-Smith Memorial Scholarship
5.       Regions Bank Scholarship
6.       SunSouth Bank Single Mother Education Fund Scholarship
7.       WCC Employee "Spirit of Giving" Scholarship
8.       Wiregrass Hospice Foundation Scholarship
9.       Billy, Suzanne, and Lily Woods Scholarship
 
                     All students must be full-time (12 semester hours), must have a high school diploma or GED, must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA, and meet other specified scholarship criteria.
