A. Z. Tyson

A. Z. Tyson of Madrid passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 89.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A. M. Friday, October 26, 2012, at the Madrid Assembly of God with Reverend Jerry Hardin officiating. Burial will follow in Madrid City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 P. M. Thursday, October 25, 2012. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Tyson was born February 18, 1923 in Houston County, Alabama, the son of the late  Hinton Tyson and Allie Clark Tyson. He was a lifelong member of Madrid Assembly of God.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Clyde Tyson, four brothers, one sister, a grandson, a granddaughter and a son-in-law, Calvin Sizemore.

Survivors include his children; Annette Sizemore of Dothan; Robbie Hardin and her husband Jerry of Madrid; Larry Tyson and Wanda Sims of Dothan; John Paul Tyson and his wife Teresa of Dothan; One brother Jimmy Tyson of Lakeland, FL; two brothers- in- law; five sisters-in-law; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mr. Tyson's grandsons.

Honorary pallbearer will be Kenny Wayne Traylor.

A special thank you to the staff and nurses of Southeast Alabama Medical Center 4 th and 7 th floors for their love and support.
