Ivan Mills Was Arrested for Second Degree Domestic Violence and Child Abuse

On October 19, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a report of a domestic assault a residence located in the 1100 block of West Powell Street. Due to the sensitive nature of the case, limited details are being released however police did confirm the suspect, Ivan Mills, had an ongoing relationship with the victim prior to the incident. Police also confirmed a small child was present at the time of the incident and had involvement in the physical altercation. Both victim's suffered minor injuries. Police arrested the suspect and say the case will remain open and further charges may be pending.

Ivan Mills, black male, 29 years of age, of West Powell Street was arrested and charged with Second Degree Domestic Violence and Child Abuse with bonds totaling $45,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
