Juan Carlos Bernardino Castaneda Was Arrested for Third Degree Robbery

On October 21, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a disturbance involving robbery at a residence located in the 100 block of West Powell Street. Upon arrival, police learned Juan Carlos Bernardino Castaneda, forced his way into a residence where he had previously cohabitated in a domestic relationship and proceeded to assault a man who was present at the time. During the assault, the suspect forcefully pulled two gold chains off of the victim's neck after which he left on foot.

Juan Carlos Bernardino Castaneda, Hispanic male, 29 years of age, of West Powell Street was arrested and charged with Third Degree Robbery with a $2,500 bond. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
