Carlton Lamar Weeks, Jr.

Carlton Lamar Weeks, Jr., a resident of Dothan, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 71.
Memorial services for Mr. Weeks will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage. The family will receive friends immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Children's Hospital Foundation, ATTN: Andrea Martin for Clinic 8, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233.
Mr. Weeks was born in Detroit, Michigan September 24, 1941 to Carlton Lamar and Tommie Ruth Kelley Weeks, Sr. He was a 1959 graduate of Dothan High School and attended Chipola Junior College graduating from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Mr. Weeks worked for Benson Wholesale of Geneva, Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center and retired from Vivian B. Adams School.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, LeEllen Weeks Hathcock and Ben, Dothan; son, Todd Weeks and special friend, Theresa Foxworth, Dothan; grandchildren, Gage Weeks, Logan Hathcock and Anna Lee Hathcock.
