"It made us a little nervous with all the things that have gone on in recent years with threats and kids actually following through with threats to not track down and see how serious they were," explained a concerned parent.
Several parents went forth with their concerns and informed administration and police.

"Investigators did work on the case and found that there was evidence to sustain that a serious threat had been made in regarding blowing up the band room," s
aid Sgt. Rachel David with the Dothan Police Department.

David also went onto explain that a juvenile, whose name cannot be released, was arrested for allegedly making this threat.

Police do believe there is no further danger to Northview, but there was extra security on campus Friday.
