H. J. (Jack) Thomas

H. J. (Jack) Thomas of New Brockton, AL passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the family residence. He was 67.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise. Burial will follow in the Thomas Family Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 until 8 pm.
Mr. Thomas was born August 3, 1945 in Butler, GA to Earline Thomas and the late John Henry Thomas. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Thomas; 1 son and 3 daughters and their spouses; his mother; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
