Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center Asking for Assistance

The Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center, or CAC, is reaching out to the community for help.
They are in need of several items leading up to the holiday season, including paper products, snack foods, gently used stuffed animals, and monetary donations.
It costs the advocacy center about $1,000 to offer services to each child, and they are asking the community to sponsor children for the remainder of the year.
"We see over 300 new children every year for interviews, so having extra money to meet the needs of those children is wonderful," said Sherryl Walker, the executive director of the CAC. "Some people give $25, $50, or $100 every month, and that really makes a difference in our budget."
