Mr. Charlie Clever Quick of Slocomb passed away
Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Northwest Florida Hospital in Chipley. He was
83.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday,
October 19 in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hosea Parker
officiating. Burial will follow in
Malvern Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb
directing.
The family will receive
friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service
time.
Mr. Quick was born on August 6, 1929 in Graceville, FL
to the late Charlie James and Daisey Etheridge Quick. He proudly served his country for 20 years in
the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by
his wife, Audrey Quick.
Survivors include four
daughters: Pat Oddo of Ft Myers, FL,
Sarah Browning (Larry) of Lehigh Acres, FL, Cathy Sue Kolonusz of Compass Lake,
FL, Charlene Moreno (Phil) of Dana, NC; five sons: John R. Quick (Beth) of Raleigh, NC, James D.
Quick (Christine) of Sugar Grove, IL, James C. Quick of Alford, FL, Jack Quick
of Compass Lake, FL, Thomas C. Quick of Cochran, GA; 31 grandchildren; 41 great
grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
