BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Troy men's golf team wrapped up play at the 2012 WKU Kenny Perry Invitational on Tuesday, carding a team score 329 to finish 12th at 120-over par.

For the second straight day, Tolver Dozier (83-79-79-241) carded a 79 to lead the Trojans with a seven-over par performance. Dozier finished the tournament tied for 19th at 25-over par.

Jake Tucker (81-77-84-242), who entered the final day tied for 11th, was fairly consistent on the first nine holes before dropping seven strokes on the back nine to finish the day at 12-over, and the tournament tied for 24th at 26-over par.

Jacob Harper (89-84-80-253) saved his best round for last as he shot just eight-over in the final round, compared to 17-over and 12-over in each of the first two rounds. Harper eliminated the double bogeys from his game, but carded bogeys in eight of the 18 holes to finish the tournament tied for 50th at 37-over par.

Wil Clowdus (86-81-86-253) sat at just five-over to make the turn towards the back nine, but carded a four-over par tenth, along with five additional bogeys to finish the day at 14-over, and the tournament at 37-over tied for 50th.

Kyle Thommesen (88-80-86-254), much like Clowdus, struggled on the back nine carding a 14-over par third round to finish the tournament in 54th at 38-over par.

Akron's Charlie Bull picked up the individual championship with a three round total of 225 and was only one of five players to shoot sub-80 in each of the three rounds.

Jacksonville State claimed the team title by just two strokes over Louisville after posting a three round total of 928.

The Trojans will have little time to recover as they will be back on the course Sunday, October 22, to compete in the Pinetree Invitational in Kennesaw, Ga.
