Lillian Williams Wright, 81, of Dothan died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Plummer and Rev. Wallace Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until service time.
Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church "Building Fund", 3257 E. Cottonwood Rd., Dothan, AL 36301.
Lillian was born March 23, 1931 to Horace and Lee Williams in Early County, GA. She was a bank teller for 38 years at Merchants & Farmers Bank in Donalsonville before retiring and moving to Dothan in 1998. Mrs. Wright was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church until her health failed.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Jack Wright of Dothan; one daughter, Kaye Wells (Andy) of Dothan; granddaughter, Kacie Baggett (Jason) of Sumter, SC; grandson, Ben Wells of Dothan; four great grandchildren, Lucas Baggett, Addison Baggett, Bryson Wells, and Baylee Wells.
