Onstar System Helps Dothan Police Catch Alleged Car Thief

On October 11, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to an On Star activation which notified police of a stolen vehicle traveling on Reeves Street. Patrolmen quickly responded to the area and located the vehicle at a gas station in the 1600 block of Reeves Street. The driver, Andre Farrier was taken into custody without incident.  Investigators have charged Farrier with receiving stolen property and say the case will remain open with additional charges pending.


     Andre Farrier, black male, 32 years of age, of South Pontiac Street was arrested and charged with First Degree Receiving Stolen Property with a $5,000 bond.
