From Troy Media Relations:

TROY, Ala. - In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Troy University football team will be thinking pink Thursday night when they take on Western Kentucky in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPNU.

The Trojans will be wearing specially designed Adidas adizero pink gloves on Thursday night in addition to having pink ribbon stickers on their helmets and pink towels on the sidelines.

"Every year we do something a little bit different with Breast Cancer Awareness Month to show our support," Troy equipment manager James Gardner said. "The players love getting special gear to wear for games and it pumps them up to have something a little different from what everyone else has."

Kickoff between the Trojans and Hilltoppers is set for 6:32 p.m. in a game that features the Sun Belt Conference's top two scoring defenses.

Tickets for the game are available and can be purchased by contacting the Troy ticket office at 1-877-878-WINS or online at TroyTrojans.com.
