A Kinsey man was arrested early on Tuesday for drug trafficking. Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox says a deputy stopped Jerry Lamar Lett, 44, for a traffic violation along U.S. 431 near Abbeville.

Henry Co. Sgt. Jesse Ingram reported smelling narcotics in the vehicle. Sheriff Maddox says a search turned up 10 oz. of cocaine concealed in the vehicle's interior.

A juvenile in the car was turned over to another adult and Lett was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Cocaine.
