Dothan's Kamryn Melton and Northview's Marquez White have received a lot of publicity over the last several months for their play on the high school gridiron.

Now WDHN has learned the pair of Wiregrass defensive backs were each given a prestigious honor. Both players will represent the Heart of Dixie in this year's Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game.

The Florida State and Auburn commits will try and help Alabama extend their winning streak over Mississippi to 5 years.

In 2011, Alabama defeated Mississippi 31-12.
