Dothan Police Department Press Release

On October 9, 2012 at 5:20 a.m., the Dothan Police Department Traffic Division responded to the scene of a collision in the 100 block of South Oates Street which claimed the life of 64 year old Maxine Ingram of Dothan.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing however the preliminary evidence indicates the driver suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased by doctors who also believe the crash followed a fatal medical emergency.

Ingram was traveling south bound on South Oates Street in a 2005 Toyota Camry at the time of the incident. The Dothan Police Department would like to extend our thoughts to the Ingram family during their time of loss.
