John L. Smith Now Claims $40.7 Million in Debt

Arkansas Head Coach John L. Smith just keeps getting deeper in debt.

In just a month's time, the coach's debt went from $25.7 million to $40 million.

Documents filed in federal court on Wednesday revealed Smith to be have $1.3 million in assets and $40 million in liabilities.

While the Hogs coach continues to lose on the field, it looks like things are getting even worse in his banking account.

These financial troubles are from his time as the head coach at Louisville, where he invested in land deals.
