Cleatus Tew

Cleatus Tew, 81, formerly of Dothan, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at his residence in Marianna, Florida.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2012 at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home of a daughter, Jan Little.
Born in Geneva County, Alabama, Cleatus was a son of the late Buren and Dellie McCallister Tew. He retired from Fort Rucker as an aircraft mechanic following thirty three years of service and was a veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nell Tew and 5 brothers.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Barnett Tew, Marianna, Florida; three daughters, Beverly (Ed) Long-McDaniel, Jan (Paul) Little, and Jill Tew all of Dothan, AL; a sister, Othelia Kirkland, Clearwater, FL; four grandchildren, Justin Long, Dean Long, Logan Little and Lane Little.
Southern Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the Tew family.
