Updated: October 3, 2012

Senior offensive Ander Bodkin of the Marianna Bulldogs committed to the Kentucky Wildcats today, according to Dustin Kent of the Jackson County Floridan and the Dothan Eagle.

The Wildcats were not the only team that wanted the 6-foot-5, 275-pound lineman. Bodkin also received offers from Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville, Marshall, and South Florida.

The thing that impressed Bodkin the most was Mike Summers, who would he his position coach, and the Wildcats Head Coach, Joker Phillips. Bodkin did not hesitate to put the Wildcats at the top of his list after paying them a visit.

Bodkin is comfortable with his decision, and he is looking forward to playing big-time football in the SEC.
