TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama men's basketball program and head coach Anthony Grant will offer a two-day coaching clinic Oct. 19-20, at Coleman Coliseum.

The clinic gives unique insight into the coaching philosophies and strategies that Coach Grant and his staff use to lead the Crimson Tide basketball team. During this clinic, visiting coaches will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions and ask questions of the Alabama coaching staff.

Registration will take place from 6-6:30 p.m. at Coleman Coliseum on Friday, Oct. 19, and will be followed by a two-hour breakdown session from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The night will end with a social at 8:45 p.m.

The clinic resumes on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with an Alabama basketball team practice. Attendees will then be provided lunch before a presentation from Coach Grant from 1:30-3 p.m. The clinic will end with another opportunity to observe the basketball team practice at 3:30 p.m.

Grant, who enters his fourth season at the helm, led the Tide to a 21-12 record last year, marking the second straight season the team has produced 20 or more wins. In addition, he guided Alabama back to the NCAA Tournament, a place the Tide had not reached since 2006.

The cost of the clinic is $60 and includes lunch, a snack at the social, an Alabama shirt and a coach's notebook. The deadline to register is Friday, Oct. 12. For more information, including how to apply, click here, or call the UA men's basketball office at 205-348-4111.
