TALLAHASSEE - Troy wide receiver Chip Reeves has been added to the Biletnikoff Award watch list, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Tuesday morning. Reeves was one of 11 players to be added to the award watch list; the Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the nation's top wide receiver.

Reeves leads the Sun Belt Conference and ranks 35th nationally as he is averaging 85.6 receiving yards per game. Reeves is tied for sixth in the NCAA with a pair of receptions of over 50 yards and is tied for 16th in the country with four catches of 30 yards or greater.

The native of Stone Mountain, Ga., has 29 catches for 428 yards and two touchdowns through Troy's first five games of the season. Reeves is averaging 14.8 yards per reception and nearly half of his catches (14-of-29) have resulted in a first down. The fifth-year senior has seven catches on third down this season and all seven have resulted in a first down, which is tied for the 12th most in the NCAA.

The Trojans are off this week before hosting Western Kentucky on Thursday, Oct. 11, in a nationally televised game by ESPNU.
