Dothan Police Teaming With Home Depot To Promote Child Safety Day

The DOTHAN POLICE DEPARMTENT  is co-sponsoring with Home Depot

CHILD SAFETY DAY

Saturday, October 6, 2012

9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Bicycle Safety-Bicycle safety tips will be available and demonstrated.

 

Child Passenger Safety Seat Clinic- More than one-half of all the child car safety seats in use today are installed and/or used incorrectly without parents realizing it. All child safety seats will be inspected by members of the Dothan Police Department trained & certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Child Passenger Safety.

 

Community Watch Program-Officers will be on hand to discuss the Community Watch Program and any concerns you may have.

 

Finger Printing- Fingerprinting/identification kits will be available for parents to complete and keep for their records in case of an emergency.  Officers will be on hand to assist.
