Joe Frank Ellenburg

Mr. Joe Frank Ellenburg of Wicksburg went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Flowers Hospital. He was 75.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, in the Wicksburg Assembly of God Church with Rev. Tim Simmons officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. Mr. Ellenburg will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Ellenburg was born on September 4, 1937 in Covington County to the late Cassie Miles and Ira Zula Mae Andrews Ellenburg.He was a member of the Wicksburg Assembly of God Church.
In addition to his parents, four brothers: Ralph, Rayford, Jody and C.M. Ellenburg; and two sisters: Sara Nell Scheafer and Mary Lou Noel all preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Terry Frank Ellenburg (Ronna) of Wicksburg; one brother, J.D. Ellenburg (Jean) of Dothan; three grandchildren: Brad Enfinger (Sarina), Casey Knighton (Chase) and Michael Enfinger; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
