Non-Profit Sustainability Summit and Grant Writing Workshop Aims to Help Non-Profit Organizations

On Thursday, October 30th, the Bay County Chamber of Commerce will host the 3rd annual "Non-Profit Sustainability Summit" with registration at 4:30 p.m. and the program starting at 5 p.m. at the Florida State University- Panama City's Holley Center.  
 
This event is targeted to new and veteran board members of non-profit organizations as well as agency professionals. The summit will offer informative sessions that will provide valuable training and resource materials for sustainability. Topics will include "Your New Board", "Creating a Crisis Communications Plan Before You Need One", "What Every Executive Needs to Know About Working with a Volunteer Board", "Attracting and Retaining Event Sponsors" and more.

Registration is $60 for Chamber members and $75 for future members. Registration includes course materials and dinner. Receive $10 off total registration if three or more members from the same organization attend.
 
The next day, Friday, October 31st, the Bay County Chamber of Commerce will hold a "Getting the Grant from Research to Thank You". This workshop is designed to turn an idea into a winning grant proposal. Cost is $60 for Chamber members and $75 for future members. Those who attend the Non-Profit Sustainability Summit will receive a 50% discount to this workshop.
