Charolotte Observer Pokes Fun of Cam Newton Superman Celebration

After a record-breaking rookie season, it hasn't been smooth sailing for Carolina quarterback Cam Newton through the first three weeks of the young NFL season.

Auburn's former Heisman winner has thrown just two touchdowns with five interceptions for the 1-2 Panthers. His 78.3 QB rating ranks 23rd in the league.

Many fans in Charlotte have expected more, illustrated by this cartoon that ran today in The Charlotte Observer.
