Shelton Leads Team to Junior Ryder Cup

MOBILE, Alabama -- Wilmer's Robby Shelton, with a 2-1 record in the two days of play, including a victory in singles play Tuesday, helped the U.S. team to a 14.5-9.5 victory over the European team in the eighth annual Junior Ryder Cup.

The event, played at Olympia Fields Golf Club  near Chicago Monday and Tuesday, featured 12 players (six boys, six girls) for both teams. The teams competed in foursome play Monday morning, mixed four-ball play Monday afternoon and the singles play on Tuesday.
