Florida State Head Coach Jimbo Fisher says that the Heisman Trophy is nothing but a popularity contest.

Fisher has been trying to keep his players focused on the task at hand and is determined to shield them from outside distractions such as the Heisman Trophy hype that is revolving around quarterback EJ Manuel.

Fisher says he prefers a "hunting dog" rather than a show dog that is paraded around for everyone to see. The Head Coach says winning the award is a great honor, but that it is not Manuel's job to decide that.

In FSU's 49-37 victory over the Clemson Tigers, Manuel racked up 380 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, while also rushing for 102 yards. Despite the great performance from the quarterback, he remains humble and focused.

FSU plays on the road for the first time this season, when they take on South Florida.
