Kasey Cooper will not be the only Dothan High softball player to compete on the Division One level.

Senior catcher, Denise Anderson will also play on college athletics' biggest stage as she committed to Florida A&M University on Monday.

Anderson has been one of the Tigers' biggest assests. She hit .382 with eight home runs and 35 rbi's as a junior as Dothan finished third in the state in Class 6A.

Anderson has been one of Dothan's top players for the past few years, and she played a key role for a successful summer league team out of Dothan this past season. She says all of this experience will help her fit in and, hopefully, make an immediate impact for the Rattlers as a freshman.

She is expected to sign with the Rattlers on November 12th.
