Vol's Randolph Done for 2012

By: Josh Rultenberg
Updated: September 18, 2012
During their 37-20 loss last Saturday to the Florida Gators, the Vol's lost one of their top defensive players.

Sophomore Safety Brian Randolph tore his ACL while trying to tackle Florida Wide Receiver Frankie Hammond Jr. The play resulted in a 75 yard touchdown for the Gators and a void to fill in the secondary for the Vols.

Randolph lead the Vols in tackles as a freshmen with 55 last season. The safety was also an All-SEC selection.

With Randolph done for the season, the Vols will have to depend on Byron Moore and Brent Brewer.

They take on Akron this Saturday.
