A woman has apparently been shot by a police officer in the small town of Kinsey, just north of Dothan.  It is believed officers were responding to a burglary call in the area of Walden Drive and Lynn Jarvis Road.  A report, not yet confirmed, said Mayor Jason Reneau was also present when the shooting happened.

The Alabama Bureau of Investigation has been summoned to the scene which is routine procedure in an officer involved shooting.  Also on the scene are Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes and Chief Deputy Donald Valenza.
