Rev. Jovis Eugene Wesley

Rev. Jovis Eugene Wesley of Enterprise, AL passed away Friday, September 14 at the family residence. He was 83.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Jim Duhaime officiating and a grandson David Barrentine assisting. Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
Rev. Wesley was born July 26, 1929 in Covington County to the late Joe and Panuel Cobb Wesley. He had been an ordained minister for a number of years.
He was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Mae Wesley, Enterprise; one daughter, Martha Lowe, Slocomb and one sister, Nell Gilman.
