A 15-year old girl was reported abducted Monday from a doctor's office on the campus of Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  The man who went inside the medical office and took the teen is believed to be her stepfather.

The situation began developing around 1:00 pm when police received a report of a kidnapping at the office of Dothan OBGYN, located in the Doctor's Building adjacent to the main hospital.   A source working nearby, who asked not to be identified, said the abduction created "quite a stir."  A weapon is not believed to have used in the kidnapping.

The man being sought by police is identified as Charles Partin, age 36. The abducted girl is Ailene Lander, who is 4-5 months pregnant. She was taken to the doctor's office by a worker with the Department of Human Resources.

Police have requested am Amber Alert, but two hours after the request, one still has not been issued.
