Abbeville Police Arrest Dothan Man On Drug Charges

Abbeville Police arrested a Houston County man on drug charges over the weekend. 

45 year old James Robert Mccloud of Dothan was arrested Friday night and charged with a felony count of drug trafficking marijuana.  Police performed a routine traffic stop on the 2005 Cadillac Mccloud was driving on U.S. 431 south in Abbeville. 

After a search of the vehicle, police recovered approximately 10 lbs of marijuana valued at around $10,000 and an undisclosed amount of cash.  Mccloud is currently being held in the Henry County Jail awaiting his initial appearance in court to determine his bond.
