A traffic accident involving a small pickup truck has taken the life of a Houston County man.   The single-vehicle wreck happened late Sunday night along State Highway 109 near the Florida, Alabama state line.

Houston County Deputy Coroner Ben Ernest said Nolan Burks of the Southern Junction community was ejected from the truck and later died at a Dothan hospital.

The roadway---a popular route to Graceville---was closed for at least an hour while workers cleaned up the scene.
