Auburn Lands Verbal Commitment

AUBURN, Alabama -- Tajh Shamsid-Deen, a point guard from Columbia High, a powerhouse in Decatur, Ga., has committed to Auburn for the 2013 recruiting class.

Shamsid-Deen, a 5-10, 165-pound point guard, has led Class AAA Columbia to three straight state titles since taking over the point as a freshman.

He had offers from UCLA, Northwestern and UConn.
