Community Job Fair Set For October 9

A community job fair will be held at the Dothan Civic Center, 126 North Saint Andrews St., on Tuesday, October 9th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Prior to the job fair, two pre-employment forums will take place at the Civic Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Area businesses and industry representatives will be accepting applications and resumes for employment or providing information about career opportunities. Local staffing agencies are planning to participate and representatives from local community colleges and Troy University will also be on hand. Admission is free for the fair.
 
The community job fair is a collaboration between the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center, Houston County Jobs Task Force, Alabama Department of Labor, Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, SEARPD Senior Employment and City of Dothan.   
 
Again, the 15th community job fair will be Tuesday, October 9th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Dothan Civic Center.  Residents from surrounding towns are encouraged to attend.
