Young professionals all across the Southeast are joining kickball leagues and Dothan is now in on the trend.

"Go Kickball" is an organization that began in 2006 as a way for young adults to socialize outside of the office.

Teams are made up of guys and girls and while it does get competitive the focus is more about the fun.

Organizers Niki and Gantt Pierce say over 150 people are taking part in Dothan's first kickball league and they expect it to continue to grow.

It's too late to sign up this season, but they plan to have 3 to 4 seasons throughout the year.
