The Ashford High School Yellow Jackets and the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles will go head to head Friday night, but for the past several months they've been teaming up for the same cause.
The two schools have been collecting money and "painting the town pink" in preparation for Friday night's third annual "Pink Out Game."
Just like any football game there will still be a competitive atmosphere on the field, but with this game the stadium will be covered in pink as the entire community fights for cancer awareness.
Ashford High School raised $1300 last year and they are hoping to reach a goal of $2000 this year; they will donate the money to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Hannah's Gifts of Hope.
While many football players are focused on winning Friday night, they say by raising money for cancer awareness they've already achieved a victory.
