Tickets
for Troy's game against Mississippi State on Saturday are still
available, however fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets
soon as ticket sales have been brisk so far this week.
"We've
been busy since we opened for business on Monday," Troy ticket manager
Scott Smith said. "Our fans are excited about Mississippi State coming
to Troy and you can tell by the amount of traffic we have had on the
phone, in person and online."
Fans
can purchase tickets for the game by calling 1-877-878-WINS, by
visiting the Troy ticket office or by logging on to TroyTrojans.com.
Tickets are
$35 for reserved seats and $25 for general admission.
Troy
University will enforce the Sun Belt Conference artificial noisemaker
policy on Saturday. All bags brought into Veterans Memorial Stadium or
subject
to search. Fans in possession of an artificial noisemaker will have the
opportunity to return it to their vehicle or have it confiscated.
Sun Belt Artificial Noisemaker Policy
For
the purpose of this regulation, artificial noisemakers are defined as
any item that interferes with the normal playing of the game or is
disturbing
to a significant group of persons who have purchased tickets. Artificial
noisemakers (air horns, vuvuzelas, electronic amplifiers, whistles, cow
bells, etc.) are not permissible in Sun Belt Conference arenas or
stadiums - except as part of the official band.
Home game management will remove such items immediately.
