Pamela Patricia "Peaches" Allen

Pamela Patricia "Peaches" Allen, 44, of Webb passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Sunset funeral Home with Rev. David Hope officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Peaches was born June 29, 1968 in Houston County and resided in Webb, AL most of her life. She attended Houston County High School and was an avid basketball player. Peaches was a loving, kind and free-spirited person. She was preceded in death by Nikita Rodgers and Paul Carroll.

Survivors include her parents, Willie and Mattie Barber; her siblings Susie Barber (Ernest Faulk), Willie Barber (Mary Ann), Alease Baker (Terry), Wanda Barber, Angela Barber (Kenny Graham), Clorisa Carroll (Cedric Clark), Elizabeth Newton (Andera), Melissa Carroll (Frank Lloyd), Alexsis Carroll, and Fernando Jones; grandparents, Rosie Allen and Lola Freeman; a god-niece Angelique Graham and a god-nephew Stephon Graham; aunts and uncles, Jean and Bruce McNealy, Clemmie Lee, Eddie and Gloria Allen, Jerome and Alice Allen, Clarence and Essie Mae Allen, Marvin Allen, Melvin Allen, and Leon Brown; 8 nieces; 13 nephews; 5 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews; a family pet Misty Barber; a host of friends also survive.
