Dothan Pediatric Clinic Opens New Location

Dothan Pediatric Clinic announces the grand opening of its newest satellite clinic, Enterprise Pediatric Clinic, on Monday, September 17, 2012.

Located at 526 Boll Weevil Circle, Enterprise Pediatric Clinic offers state-of-the-art pediatric healthcare services for children in Enterprise, Coffee County, and surrounding towns. The clinic employs two pediatricians and a certified registered nurse practitioner providing a full-range of medical care for infants, children and adolescents as well as offering a full-service laboratory.  Medical professionals are supported by a staff of administrative professionals and a clinical support staff including licensed nurses and two laboratory technicians. Clinic hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Appointments can be made by calling (334) 308-1166.  On the weekend, sick patients can be seen on a walk-in basis at the Dothan clinic. 

Caring for the medical needs of children in the Wiregrass region has been the mission of Dothan Pediatric Clinic since being founded in 1953 by Dr. William Lies, III.  

In addition to Enterprise Pediatric Clinic, Dothan Pediatric Clinic, located at 126 Clinic Drive, has two other satellite offices: Eufaula Pediatric Clinic (opened April 2008), a pediatric medical office located at 323 East Barbour Street in Eufaula; and, The Westgate Center (opened February 2010), a pediatric neurology and behavioral and counseling services office located at 540 Westgate Parkway in Dothan. 

At present, Dothan Pediatric Clinic, P.A. has eight shareholders:  William R. Barron Jr., M.D.; Robert J. Benak, M.D.; Lee Scott, M.D.; Michael J. Ramsey, M.D.; Michelle S. Freeman, M.D.; Kenneth C. Brown, M.D.; Jeffrey M. Tamburin, M.D.; and, Mark F. Strassburg, M.D. 

A grand opening celebration, tours of the clinic, and a ribbon cutting are scheduled for Enterprise Pediatric Clinic on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 3:30 p.m.

"We are very excited to establish a pediatric healthcare clinic in a progressive community such as Enterprise, Alabama," says Dr. Jeff Tamburin, Medical Director.
