James Earl Cherry, a resident of Signature Health Care, Graceville, FL and formally of Dothan,died Saturday, September 8, 2012. He was 82.
Memorial services will be held at 3 P. M. Friday, September 14, 2012 from the Chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
Mr. Cherry was born and raised in Houston County, AL and lived most of his life in Geneva County, AL. He was a farmer in the Slocomb area most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Survivors include his wife, Reba Smith Cherry of Graceville, FL; One daughter, Glenda Glover of Headland, AL;One brother in law Robert Smith and wife Dean of Dothan; sister in law, Marie Cherry of Prattville, AL.
Four grandchildren, Willie James Wilbanks, Larry A. Wilbanks, Sharon W. Jaarsma and Danny P. Wilbanks
Four great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren and a number of nieces.
