Phillip W. Adkison of Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was 48 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 9th at Goodman Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Bond and Rev. Bruce Williams officiating.Burial will follow in Goodman Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., Saturday, September 8th .In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: The family of Mr. Adkison, 212 West Pondella Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Teri Foxworth Adkison, Enterprise ; daughter, Hayden Dakota Adkison, Enterprise; his mother, Pearline (Lee) Jones Stephenson; father, Wayne Adkison; sisters, Rebecca Denise Adkins (Ennis); Monika L. Herrington (Scott); Shannon N. Stephenson; brother, Anthony K. Adkison, all of Enterprise; seven nieces; five nephews; nine great-nieces and great-nephews; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Shannon Foxworth; brother-in-law, Brian Foxworth (Kim).
