The Dothan Tigers and Northview Cougars are meeting for the first time Friday in week two as opposed to week nine of the regular season. The 35th City Showdown will also feature two undefeated football teams for the first time in its history.

The showdown will feature a plethora of talent including two Division I commits in the secondary, Dothan's Kamryn Melton and Northview's Marquez White.

This game is not only important to both team's because "it's the next game, their first region game, and a city rival," but it also provides a year's worth of bragging rights.

The Tigers lead the all-time series 18-16 and beat the Cougars in 2011 35-0.
