Troy University kicks off its first home game September 8th at Larry Blakeney field.

If one group of Troy fans get its way, the stadium will be packed.

Several students and alumni have started Operation 30,000.

They're hoping to have a full stadium for kick-off Saturday night.

The group has been pushing Operation 30,000 for the last few weeks, even having head coach Larry Blakeney chime in encouraging fans to pack the stands.

Troy plays Louisiana Lafayette Saturday at six.
