Billie Britt Roberts, a resident of Abbeville, died Wednesday afternoon,
September 5, 2012, in the emergency room of a Dothan hospital. He was
56.
Graveside services will be held at 5:00 P.M. (E.D.T.) or (4:00 P.M. Alabama Time),Saturday, September 8, 2012, in the New Park Cemetery, Ft. Gaines, Georgia, with Reverend Troy West officiating and eulogies to be given by Tim Ingram and Eddie McConnell. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. (C.D.T.) Friday at the mortuary in Abbeville.
Britt Roberts was a native of Murphysboro, Illinois and was reared in Immokalee, Florida. He formerly lived in Dothan before moving to Abbeville fifteen years ago. Britt was self-employed as the owner and operator of Britt's Enterprises in Abbeville. He was preceded in death by his father, James Fuller and a sister, Susan Fuller.
Surviving relatives include a son, Joshua Britt Cole, Abbeville; his mother, Deloris McConnell Fuller, Abbeville; a sister, Teresa Nowling, Brooksville, FL
Serving as active pallbearers will be Tim Ingram, Keith Cauthen, Mickey Skeen, Al Obert, Chase McConnell and Travis McConnell.
