AUBURN - Monday afternoon, the Auburn Tigers held a light practice in shorts at the Auburn Athletics Complex Practice Fields, beginning preparations for Saturday's SEC opener at Mississippi State. That contest, with an 11 a.m. CT kickoff, will be televised by ESPN.

With the Labor Day holiday giving students a break from classes on the Auburn campus, the Tigers spent most of the day in meetings and film study, turning their focus to the Bulldogs.

Auburn is now just 12 days away from its home opener at Jordan-Hare Stadium, when the Tigers host ULM on Saturday, September 15, in an 11:21 CT game.
