Labor Day travels are underway all over the country as some people are headed all the way from Illinois to the beaches in Florida.

Long travels of course lead to a few pit stops along the way and many are stopping right here in the Circle City.

Some people stopped for the food while others said Dothan had cheaper gas prices than anywhere else.

The holiday travel traffic is expected to increase in Dothan and surrounding areas throughout the weekend.

AAA predicts nearly a 5% increase in Labor Day travels this year with over 33 million people hitting the roads.
