Brice Paul of Enterprise, AL passed away, Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in UAB hospital. He was 61.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 31st at First Baptist Church of Enterprise with Rev. Sonny Moore and Rev. Mart Gray officiating.A private burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church from 9:30 A.M. until service time on Friday.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Enterprise YMCA, PO Box 310700, Enterprise, AL 36331.Brice served as Coffee County Sheriff from 1979 until 1994.He finished his career in law enforcement in 2009.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Paul, his parents, Judge Eris and Jean Paul and a niece, Susan Kirkland.Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Eris Bryan and Ginny Paul, Birmingham, AL; two grandchildren, Mary Addison Paul and Brice McKewen Paul, Birmingham; his sister and brother-in-law, Jeanice and Jimmy Kirkland, Andalusia, AL; nieces Kim and Kent Back, Gadsden, AL; Callie and Wesley Evans, Opelika, AL; mother-in-law, Mary Frank Lee, Hartford, AL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Jeannie Bryan, Enterprise, AL.
